Important Product Testing & Labeling Updates

We take material representation seriously. Independent product testing uncovered discrepancies between supplier representations and actual gemstone/metal compositions. Below is a summary of what changed and why:

• Turquoise & Magnesite Stones: Third-party suppliers represented certain turquoise, howlite, lapis, and malachite magnesite items as reconstituted stone composites. Independent testing revealed these items are more accurately classified under gemological standards as imitation stones.

  Note: "Imitation" is a technical gemological classification. It does not mean the jewelry is counterfeit or poorly made. The designs retain the exact same beautiful quality and craftsmanship you love.

• Sterling Club Gold Plating: Gold-plated items in the Sterling Club Collection feature gold plating over a .925 sterling silver base. Testing revealed the plating thickness does not meet the 2.5-micron requirement for the term "gold vermeil." While the gold finish and durability remain high quality, the collection name and outer box packaging are being refined for complete accuracy.

• Diamond Certifications (GIA vs. IGI): Genuine diamonds feature GIA (Gemological Institute of America) certificates. Lab-grown diamonds with center stones sized at 0.5ct or 1ct feature IGI (International Gemological Institute) certificates. Labels that inadvertently listed "GIA" on lab-grown pieces have been corrected moving forward.

• Supplier Action: Bomb Party has ended its relationship with the third-party stone supplier involved and partnered with a new supplier to enforce stronger standards and greater transparency.

Extended BP Promise Replacement Guarantee

To ensure complete satisfaction, Bomb Party has extended the BP Promise product replacement program. If you purchased a qualifying item from any of the releases listed below (released November 2025 to present), you are eligible for a replacement.

• August–October 2026 Originals: Select items containing lab-created light rubellite, moonstone, Paraíba tourmaline, blue moonstone, aquamarine, emerald, arctic blue topaz, peach tourmaline, smokey topaz, morganite, aquamarine spinel, smokey quartz, blue topaz, howlite magnesite, turquoise magnesite, lapis magnesite, malachite, alexandrite, red ammolite, green ammolite, or bi-color tourmaline

• The BP Gem Society® 2424 Sets (July 1 – Sept 30, 2026): Items with lab-created light rubellite, moonstone, mint spinel, Paraíba tourmaline, blue moonstone, or smoky quartz

How Customers Can Submit a Replacement Claim

If you own a qualifying item and would like to receive a replacement, the process is quick and simple:

1. Log In: Go to BombParty.com, log into your customer account, and navigate to My Account > Replacement Requests.

2. Select Reason: In the "defect" dropdown menu, choose BP Promise.

3. Upload Proof: Attach your order number and a clear photo of the item. The photo must include a handwritten note beside the item displaying your full name and the date of the request.

4. No Return Needed: You do not need to mail your original piece back!

5. Selection & Shipping: Bomb Party will work directly with you to select an in-stock replacement item of equal or greater value, shipped directly to your door at no cost to you.
